Eagles extend 'Long Road' trip
The Eagles [ tickets ], who kicked off the North American leg of their "Long Road Out of Eden World Tour" earlier this month, have added several more dates to the itinerary since last check.The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have tacked on a third show at New York City's Madison Square Garden to finish out the month, after which they'll skip into July with a newly added gig in Philadelphia and a three-night stand in Toronto. The tour now stretches into September, when the Eagles will play two nights in Chicago. An updated itinerary is listed below.The band is supporting its first new studio set in 28 years, "Long Road Out of Eden," which debuted at the top of The Billboard 200 in November and has since been certified seven-times platinum. The lead single, "How Long," earned the Eagles their fifth Grammy award, and the follow-up, "Busy Being Fabulous," is currently holding the No. 15 spot on the adult contemporary chart.On the road, bandmates Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit are also mixing in a good dose of their classic hits, like No. 1 singles "Hotel California," "Heartache Tonight," "Best of My Love," "One of These Nights" and "New Kid in Town."The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide since the early '70s. Their "Greatest Hits 1971-1975" is the best-selling album of all time in the US.
